To earn the prestigious quality mark, Rotorua Duck Tours underwent a comprehensive on-site assessment to ensure it met quality criteria focused on service, facilities and safety systems the business has in place. Rotorua Duck Tours has achieved Qualmark standard “Visitor Endorsed Activity” as well as “Enviro Silver”. Rotorua Duck Tours is also a member of the Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter.

Current Initiatives
Rotorua Duck Tours is currently involved in the Lake Ōkāreka Landcare programme. Yearly support is provided to help with Riparian planting of the Scenic Reserve and also to help in the eradication of pests such as possums which help in the protection of native species – like lizards, insects, and birds and their eggs.
